Job Purpose

The incumbent is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of various BLD devices as well as training clients in the use of these devices and its associated software at the client’s premises.


Device Installations

  • Installations of BLD transacting device equipment performed as per processes and standards defined

Customer Staff Training

  • Provide device and product training to all relevant customer staff members after installations have been completed

Customer device / software queries  resolved

  • Provide telephonic consultation - troubleshoot over the phone first before going in to see the client
  • Provide on site device maintenance and / orrepairs
  • Replacement / swop out devices where necessary

Financial Procedure and Controls – (Asset and Spares Management)

  • Ensure that all stock allocations and movements are managed according to the BLD process
  • Month end device stock count processes are performed in accordance with the BLD month end stock procedures

Customer Service

  • All customer requests for device / software support activitiesare performed and closed out within the prescribed SLA
  • To offer excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
  • To display a customer orientation,
  • To embody the “customer is king” philosophy

  • A+ Certificate
  • A + Essential (Advantageous)
  • N+ Certificate (Advantageous)
  • SQL Certificate (Advantageous)
  • Customer Relations Certificate (Advantageous)
