Job Purpose

Supports financial decision-making information by collecting, processing, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.

Responsibilities

Customer Management

  • Design and implement processes that create a customer centric environment
  • Compile and analyse CRM statistics to gain insight
  • Analyse statistics to determine new controls and processes that may be required for efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Reporting and support provided to increase credit / sales where applicable

Functional Delivery

  • Loadings management
    • Investigations on all unallocated receipts on a daily basis
    • Active management of stats and monitoring of SLA’s
    • Daily clearing of all queries relating to unknown deposits and other
    • Investigate and correct incorrect banking by calling merchants
    • Checking of daily audit reports to ensure correctness of transactions

Credit

  • Send Customers Invoices and Statements on request
  • Un suspending of accounts that has been paid
  • Deal with customer queries in terms of their accounts
  • Loading of temporary overdrafts if the customer has insufficient funds
  • Preparing and calculation of credit limit increases on customer accounts for approval
  • Functions to be performed in line with company credit policy.
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and communicate findings to customers.
  • Provide reporting and assistance to CIC Manager to increase credit where applicable
  • Checking of daily audit reports to ensure correctness of transactions
  • Active management of stats and monitoring of SLA’s

General finance and debtors management

  • Capture customer information accurately for new applications onto various systems
  • Apply the correct pricing structure to customer accounts
  • Configure devices to enable customers to trade effectively
  • Activate the correct products for client on the various systems
  • Accurate logging of all requests for installation.
  • Ensure that the correct billing options and terms have been configured on the account.
  • Action swop outs of devices and the configuration of additional machines for customers.
  • Ensure contracts are captured within the specified deadlines.
  • Ensure group closures are actioned correctly
  • Checking of daily audit reports to ensure correctness of transactions
  • Active management of stats and monitoring of SLA’s

Financial Controls

  • Continuous improvement through standardization of manual processes
  • Monitoring and measurement of work output against credit policy
  • Identify risks in processes and controls and mitigate these risks through various mediums
  • Ensure adherence to processes and controls put in place by management
  • Responsible to implement controls and processes

Requirements of the Job
Experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years commercial experience in a Supervisory position
Minimum qualifications
  • Matric
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance Diploma would be an
