Job Purpose

The purpose of the position is to assist financial manager to reconcile and manage financial risk relating to virtual airtime stock and online integrations to both merchants and suppliers. This will include maintaining financial relationships with key merchants and suppliers and reconciling the transactions and settlements between BLT and third parties. It will further include monitoring possible financial risk exposures with software integrations and escalating and mitigating these risks with the relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The main Key Responsibility Areas are as follows:

  • Managing stock levels and stock ordering process
  • Managing blacklisted stock and reducing company exposure to stock write-offs
  • Managing customer queries relating to stock
  • Managing and supervising the daily reconciliation processes for third party integrations
  • Exception management and resolution for daily reconciliations
  • Managing the accounting for relevant processes

o Preparing journals

o Posting invoices

o Monthly supplier reconciliations

o Reconciling commissions due

  • Management of customer and supplier relations
  • Cash managemen
Requirements of the Job
Experience
  • Matric
  • B.Compt degree accounting and articles
Minimum qualifications
  • 4 Years plus, Accounting articles done at a SAICA registered firm
