Job Purpose

The primary role of a Project / Account Manager is to understand the requirements of customers and to ensure that the project is run effectively and efficiently according to and within the framework as set out by the company. The role will require managing specific metering projects from inception to completion and interacting with and managing various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.  

Responsibilities

 Project Life cycle Management

  • Ensure that active project activities run according to stipulated project methodologies 

Draft and Manage Project Plan

  • Compile project plan in conjunction with workshops held
  • To manage the result of a project in a structured manner, in order to reach the project objective within the time span given.
  • Manage day to day activity around the project and scope.
  • Ensure that each roll player meets deliverable in the specified time frame.
  • Achieve goals and scope in terms of the project methodology
  • Reporting

Customer Focus

  • Collaboration with other Project Managers and team players
  • Conformance to Project management methodologies
  • Own and manage customer satisfaction.
  • Customer satisfaction measurement and overall improvement.
  • Maintaining good customer relations.

Customer Service

  • To offer excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
  • To display a customer orientation,
  • To embody the “customer is king” philosophy

Collaboration

  • The ability to work in conjunction with other internal and external parties towards the achievement of a common goal.
Requirements of the Job
Experience

4  years + applicable experience

Minimum qualifications
