Strategic Financial Planning
Driving the company’s financial planning
Determine, implement, monitor, review and evaluate budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with other managers
Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-term planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
Provide financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needs
Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting and business systems and processes
Direct the preparation of financial reports summarising and forecasting the organisation's financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income
Assess capital finance proposals and the financial status of operational projects
Advise on investment strategies, sources of funds and the distribution of earnings
Deliver long range profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reports
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
Develop, monitor and review operational expenditure budgets to support growth strategies
Ensure the implementation and provision of sound financial, Business Intelligence and CRM management services to the organisation
Ensure the provision of financial and material resources to support operational strategies
Ensure adequate vendor, service provider and other agreed stakeholder management across all channels
Develop and implement sales objectives, strategies and budgets
Ensure the achievement of revenue and retention targets
Ensure the implementation of Marketing and Public Relations strategies
Strategic cost management
Business optimisation including quality, and not at expense of effectiveness
Drive continuous opex improvement and ensure optimal allocation.
Define Policies, Processes and procedures to streamline the Business Unit and optimize efficiencies.
Through effective inspirational leadership, facilitate the creation of accountable, full service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all stakeholders
Role model behavior and motivate team members in line with the core values
Take full responsibility for performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management:

Requirements of the Job
Minimum of 10+ years in a senior finance role
Strong operational experience
B Comm (Honours) preferably CA
